There are those people in the world that dutifully mark their planted seeds with little signs, either from the plant start or home-made, that clearly label what is growing where. I generally consider myself anti-plant tag when it comes to my own backyard. However, this season might be a good example of why those come in handy.
For several weeks this spring/summer I had a case of “seed fever”, which means I would run out every weekend and shove random seeds in random places in the garden. So let’s play a little game together I have been playing a lot, called “Name that Plant”. In this case, it’s a gourd. Very gourd like leaves and what have you.
I won’t be able to confirm your guess for about a month though, since I don’t have the answer to my own question. You have these two pictures of the same plant to aid in your guessing!

my money is on pumpkin! it would have developed the little neck already if it was a crookneck squash.

I tried to keep all my seeds organized this year, and for the most part I did….but I have several volunteer pumpkins, presumably from my compost! I didn’t plant pumpkin this year but we’ve got several of them out there, some ready right now. Silly pumpkins!
I’m not sure what you’ve got is pumpkins, though, Mine were green until they got big and yours look yellow. Maybe some other kind of winter squash. I know I’m not very helpful.
